Amanda RodriguezWe are pleased to announce that Amanda K. Rodriguez, Esq. returned to TurnAround to serve as its Executive Director on December 2, 2019. Ms. Rodriguez previously served TurnAround as its Chief Program Officer. In that capacity, Ms. Rodriguez developed strong relationships with TurnAround’s staff and service partners, oversaw the growth of the anti-trafficking program, and tapped new funding streams to support expanded programming to better serve more clients.
A graduate of the University of Maryland – College Park and the University of Baltimore School of Law, Ms. Rodriguez brings a wealth of experience. She is a former state and federal prosecutor and has served in the Maryland Human Trafficking Task Force for over 10 years. She has also served on the Maryland Commission for Women, the Baltimore County Commission for Women, and the Governor’s Family Violence Council. Ms. Rodriguez’s tireless efforts on behalf of survivors have been recognized with two Governor’s Citations, a Baltimore County Special Citation, and a Daily Record Maryland Leading Women Award. Ms. Rodriguez most recently served as Chief Counsel for Policy and Legal Advocacy at the University of Maryland SAFE Center for Human Trafficking Survivors.
