TurnAround hosts a variety of events in the community designed to raise awareness of sexual assault and domestic violence and to raise money for TurnAround. Each year we have three core events that are run almost entirely by volunteers.

Take Back the Night
Each April TurnAround and WAVE participate in this nation wide tradition. Take Back the Night is a rally and march designed to raise awareness in the community about sexual violence and to honor survivors. In addition, WAVE members participate in a variety of awareness events throughout the City and County
in April.

Metamorphosis
To Honor Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October, TurnAround sponsors Metamorphosis, an evening of art and activism. The event generally features spoken-word artists, dance performances, and an engaging town hall meeting.
We’re always in need of performers, artists, and new and exciting venues.
